BluePearl Pet Hospital in Scottsdale, AZ is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team!Position: V eterinary Technician with our ICU department.
Work Schedule: Full-Time; Sunday through Tuesday - Wednesday once a month
Pay Range APCA I-II $23.21 - $34.51/hour
*This pay band is dependent on local veterinary licensing, experience, and advancement through our competency assessment tool.
As a n ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will:
- Triage and obtain patient history
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
- Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
- Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
- Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
- Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
- Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
